Dover, DE — May 1, 2025 — LEAD PAC is excited to announce that applications are now open for the fall 2025 session of Campaign Compass: Navigating Your Path to Public Office. This no-cost, statewide program is designed for business-friendly individuals considering a run for public office. Campaign Compass equips aspiring leaders with the tools, strategies, and confidence to launch successful campaigns and make a difference in their communities.

More than a campaign workshop, Campaign Compass is a launchpad for public service. Whether you're new to politics or ready to take your advocacy to the next level, this program helps you run an effective, values-driven campaign—regardless of your background or experience level.  The program is tailored to help candidates at all levels—whether you’re considering a run for school board, city council, state representative, or another elected position.

“You bring the passion — Campaign Compass helps you build the campaign to match it,” said Shelly Cecchett, LEAD PAC representative. “We provide the expertise and connections to take that first step into public service.”

What Participants Can Expect:

  • Expert-led modules on topics including messaging, media, fundraising, and compliance
  • Hands-on campaign planning
  • A supportive, nonpartisan environment focused on impact
  • No cost to participate—an investment in you as a future leader

Training Topics Include:

  • Crafting your story, building your team, and defining your mission
  • Fundraising essentials and building a donor base
  • Navigating campaign finance laws and compliance
  • Messaging and communication strategies across media
  • Building coalitions and strategic partnerships
  • Public speaking and community outreach

Application Deadline: July 30, 2025

Applications for the September cohort will close on July 30, 2025. Upon completing the program, graduates will leave with a tailored campaign road map and a network of peers and mentors to support their journey.
