Beloved Delaware Back-to-School Initiative “100 Pairs to Give” Announces 2025 Cancellation – Vows Powerful Return

Wilmington, DE  — With great care and heartfelt reflection, the leadership behind 100 Pairs to Give announces the cancellation of this year’s anticipated back-to-school empowerment event, originally scheduled for Summer August 2025. The decision comes after months of tireless planning and community collaboration, ultimately disrupted by unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizers' control.

“After months of pouring every ounce of energy into building something extraordinary, we must press pause,” said Randall Law, Founder of 100 Pairs to Give. “We envisioned an unforgettable experience to show Delaware students what dreaming BIG really looks like. And while this vision will have to wait, please know this is not the end. It’s a moment to recharge, not retreat.”

In just three years, 100 Pairs to Give has grown from a passionate idea into a community-powered movement. With over:

• 1,000+ back-to-school items distributed,
   

• 1,000+ door prizes gifted to families,
   

• 115 sponsors (including 14 repeat supporters every year),
   

• 110 local vendors engaged, and
   

• 1,000+ attendees united across its lifespan,
   

the initiative has ignited inspiration, equity, and empowerment for Delaware youth.

“This is more than an event,” Law continues. “This is living proof that when a community comes together with purpose, anything is possible.”

While this year’s event will not take place, the Kool Kolored Kid Generation team encourages community members to stay connected. Plans are already underway for upcoming activations this summer and during the holiday season with Kooli, the beloved Kool World mascot. These touchpoints aim to maintain momentum and remind families that 100 Pairs to Give remains "laced with purpose."
