You will cover: 

  • Understanding process of constructing a pitch  
  • How to tailor your pitch to audience (customer, investor, supplier, media)
  • How to create clear and compelling message (demonstrating value proposition, supported with facts)

Note: This event is open to the public. You do not have to be a participant of the Swim with the Sharks Pitch Competition to learn from this workshop.  Attendance at these workshops are NOT required to participate in the Swim with the Sharks Pitch Competition.

About Instructor

Pedro is a seasoned deal strategist and financier of startups and small businesses.  He is the co-founder of FundingFuel, Inc. a platform bringing fractionalized franchise investing to the world; and crowdfunding for franchises. A Venture Capital advisor to venture firms, angel investors, investment groups, successful startups and celebrities such as Daymond John of ABC’s hit TV show Shark Tank.

Pedro also co-founded two businesses; Delaware’s first co-working space, The coIN Loft and Bump N Play Delaware’s first bubble soccer company.

Lastly, he earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Delaware with a focus on marketing and management.
