Lunch speaker: Sloane Kaiser from Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia will be presenting on the Economic Growth & Mobility Project (EGMP), a strategic initiative of the Philadelphia Fed that works to advance entrepreneurial solutions to inclusive economic growth and create pathways out of poverty in communities across the Third District and our nation. She will focus her discussion on recent research focused on Delaware’s childcare and workforce barriers.
Sloane Kaiser is the vice chair of the Federal Reserve System's Early Care and Education (ECE) Learning Community (2022), which aims to provide context on systemic challenges in the ECE sector and considerations for addressing the needs of parents, ECE professionals, and children — a region’s future workforce. Sloane contributes to the department’s qualitative and quantitative research efforts, primarily focusing on challenges that affect labor force participation, including ECE and access to capital.
